A plethora of new yarns and new colors for your knitting enjoyment!
Willowgate Yarns is pleased to add a wonderful yarn from Knit One Crochet Too:
Brae Tweed is a lovely Merino wool/baby Llama/Bamboo/Donegal blend to add to your collection of soft warm yarns. The three colors available are: Moss; Moor; and Berry Heather. Find the colors on the Brae Tweed page under the Worsted Weight line.
Also from Knit One Crochet Too, we have added their two new colors in the Ty-Dy Sock Dots family: Candy and Periwinkle. Great additions for your sock yarn collection or other projects requiring a finer yarn.
The third addition from Knit One Crochet Too is a new pattern called Bluewings Shawlette featuring the Crock-O-Dye yarn. Find that pattern under the Individual Patterns section.
From Peace Fleece in Worsted Weight we now offer three new colors: Baku Black, Negotiation Gray and Moldova Burgundy. Great colors for your fall and winter projects.

25 July 2011...
This past weekend I went to an amazing workshop! The Saco Valley Fiber Artists sponsored the Saco Valley Summer Textile Workshop at Shearbrooke Farm in Standish Maine. Anyone from New England or visiting New England during this time should consider attending this workshop. All types of classes were offered this year, some included: Amish Embroidery; Basket Weaving; Bead Knitting; Fiber Art Dolls; Locker Hooking; Rug Hooking; Rug Braiding; Weaving... to name a few! All of the instructors are fantastic and so willing to pass on their knowledge of their chosen craft. Many of the instructors are proficient in and offer multiple classes.
And, the lunches are fabulous! As one participant told me Friday morning, the registration fee is worth it just for the lunch!
I have added a link to the Saco Valley Fiber Artists website on my Links page. Check it out! They are an amazing group of ladies who have so much to offer and do so willingly! The website has a list of classes and workshops throughout the year.
